WHAT’S NEW?
It’s been an exciting summer! On July 3, I gave audiences at Saratoga Springs’ legendary Caffè Lena a special sneak peek at music from my forthcoming recording, The Sweetest Sounds, due for national release on Summit Records in 2027. It was a wonderful evening of new music, old friends, and some terrific musicians — and I’m looking forward to sharing much more from the album in the months ahead.
Meanwhile, I’m continuing to perform around the Capital Region and beyond. Upcoming appearances include an August 30 appearance with keyboardist Azzaam Hameed at Market Bar and Restaurant and a jazz trio date on September 17 at the Stella Pasta Bar/Van Dyck in Schenectady. ABOUT JEANNE:
Singer Jeanne O’Connor can’t be confined to one genre or musical style, although there is a jazzy spirit – and a free-flowing musicality -- in everything she sings. She has brought her swinging, subtle and soulful vocals to stages in New York City, the greater U.S., and Europe. She divides her time between New York City and Saratoga Springs, where she teaches voice. A multi-faceted singer, Jeanne works with a wide variety of jazz and pop ensembles -- as you'll see on this site!
